PRIMARY HYPERPARATHYROIDISM

Forty year old female patient presented with complaints of swelling in the right side of jaw for few months and general weakness .On examination at that time revealed a swelling in the neck too which was clinically diagnosed as thyroid swelling.A radiograph of right mandible showed a well defined cystic lesion with sclerotic margin. HPR-  Giant cell tumor.She returned after four months with worsening of sympoms and inability  evento move.A limited skeletal survey and C.T scan of the neck done which revealed a well defined  soft tissue mass in in the parathyroid  gland  and diagnoses as adenoma  of parathyroid histpathologicaly.
