The introduction of planar imaging is an explosive development in the field of diagnostic radiology, but the fall out of this explosion was on the time tested conventional radiology; which is either forgotten or neglected.
As it stands today and hopefully for the time to come, the conventional radiology has a role in the management of patients, sometime pivotal too. This is especially applicable in bone tumors, skeletal dyaplasia and some congenital and metabolic disorders.
The aim of the site is to present few conventional radiographs which may be helpful to junior practitioners and residents in the speciality of radiology.
Planar imaging is also used in appropriate situations to explain the particular conditions.
